unbodying supremacy
weaving connection
4-Day Intensive in 2026
July 16-19, 2026
at SUSU CommUNITY Farm
in Southern Vermont
“As a college professor, I spend time talking with my students about colonialism, empire, racism, and patriarchy. The Unbodying intensive rearranged how I understand and teach the impacts of these systems on our bodies and spirits. I’m more able to care for myself and others in the room. And just as often I find us practicing what repair, connection, and abundance feel like. I hope other schools will support teachers in taking this Intensive as necessary sustenance for our times. ”
“Unbodying was an incredible experience that exceeded my expectations in every way! This is an opportunity to engage in professional development like nothing you’ve ever done before. If I could, I would do it again and again. This work went deeper than I knew possible. Lis, Em and Amber are gifted facilitators and weave together an extraordinary experience that goes well beyond the classroom.”
this 4 day intensive is designed for white folks with european-american ancestry ready to unlearn and heal from the impacts of supremacy culture.
led by amber arnold, em rose, & lis newell, this transformative journey integrates somatic practices, ritual, and community care to release conditioned patterns of white supremacy, patriarchy, and other systems of oppression.
through an immersive experience and peer support, you’ll gain embodied skills to navigate conflict, set boundaries, reclaim pleasure, and build self-trust.
this program will help you create lasting transformation in how you relate to power, race, and identity, fostering deeper connection to yourself and your community.
Would you like to be able to navigate the complexities of grief, rage, and the conditioning of whiteness without shutting down and turning away?

About the land & location
We are grateful to be hosted by SUSU CommUNITY Farm in Newfane Vermont and are in loving service to this land & community
SUSU is a living, breathing Black archival sanctuary and Homeplace
SUSU CommUNITY exists upon the unceded stolen land of the Wabanaki peoples, presently known as vermont. we pay homage to our afro-indigenous ancestors. the ones who planted seeds of liberation against all odds, and to the ones who chose the water. we are because you are.
Reflection from Past Intensive Participant:
“I'm more in touch with my anger, and yet also feeling more compassionate towards those that I can identify supremacy patterns in; I'm able to identify the patterns and my participation in them, and able to pause and break the pattern with compassion and mindfulness. Each session gave me more context for my experience out in the world, and gave me powerful tools and paradigms for being with and transmuting challenging experiences into generative relating. This is the work we need to be doing in order to collectively move towards liberation, healing, and community connection.” ~ Addison
